Winter Snowangel

When I thought about doing winter themed card. I struggle this time of year, Because I am ready for spring. And I do not own very many winter stamp sets from My Favorite Things. A Merry Christmas stamp and Snowflakes. But in looking through what I do have, one stood out in particular. And I thought that I could make it work.

I stamped the little girl from "Jumping With Joy" in black ink on white cardstock. I drew a snow angel shape around her and made a mask with some eclipse masking paper.  

I cut it out and applied it to the panel. I used Distress inks to bland a night background around her. Spritzed some watercolor on the panel and blotted it dry. Then I watered down a little white acrylic paint and flicked it on with a small paintbrush. I added water to some Perfect Pearls and flicked that on as well.

I removed the mask and colored in the little girl and snow angel with Prismacolor colored pencils and blended them with some gamsol.

I stamped "Life Is Meant To Be Enjoyed" from the Fun In The Sun stamp set in black ink. I adhered my panel to the base with some fun foam and double-sided adhesive. I added some clear Crystal Drops. I added some snow and polka-dots to her jacket with a white gel pen and that completes my card.
