Welcome!

Embossing With Stencils

I decided that I would use my stencils like stamps, and emboss with them.

I took the stencil and applied versanark ink to the stencil and then laid the stencil on a piece of Canson watercolor paper and ran it through my big shot. Then I applied embossing powder to it and heat set it with my heat gun. I did this with two different stencils.

Then I taped these two marker boards and watercolored them with Winsor and Newton watercolors. And let them air dry.

Then I used velum paper and embossed them with stencils as well.

For this card, all I did was used distress collage medium behind the embossing and adhered it to a card, and put something heavy on it so it would dry flat.

The second velum embossed paper, I used copic markers and colored in the shapes on the back side of the paper. Then I adhered this panel the same as the other velum card.

For the last card I used some distress inks on regular cardstock, and blended them to make a background. I then embossed this the same os for the other ones.

I adhered this one with some strong adhesive tape to a side folding card base.

And if yo want to see it, I finally got some video. Still working on all the different editing  that needs to take place when making a video. Hopefully I get better at this and it won't take me so log each time.
