ALTENEW: JUNE 2022 FINE AND DANDY COLLECTION BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

($300 in total prizes)

Hi everyone!
Hope you are having fun if you are participating in the hop. You should have come from Laurie Willison, Amazing, right? You can find the beginning of the hop here if you wish to go back.

There are some great new products, and I'm sharing some cards that I made with some of the products in this release.

Products used:

Exquisite Marble Hot Foil Die
Inline Leaves Die Set
Birthday Greetings Stamp Set
Obsidian Black Ink

This card was pretty simple to create. I hot foiled the Exquisite Marble die with some copper foil and then foiled two more panels with the copper foil. I used the Inline Leaves die to cut a leaf out of one of the solid panels and then adhered the other to a white card base. Stamped the sentiment and layered it up on a piece of the leftovers parts from the leaf panel.

Products used:

Fancy Enjoy Die
Mix and Match Frames Die Set
Hanging Garden Die Set
Diamond Stars 3D Embossing Folder
Build- A- Flower: Belladonna Lily
Artist Marker Refills
Bamboo Crisp Dye Ink
Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder
Embossing Ink
Instant Dimension Foam Tape

I used the Artist Marker refills to color a piece of photo paper. If I were to guess on the colors, they would be- Bamboo, Azurite, and Aqualicious (I failed to record the colors) I rubbed Bamboo Crisp Dye ink over a piece of cardstock big enough to cut the Fancy Enjoy Die from, let it dry and cut it out, along with one in white. Cut out the Hanging Garden Die from black cardstock and adhered it to the alcohol ink panel then used some scissors to cut it out. I embossed a white panel with the Diamond Stars Folder, Cut a frame from some black cardstock and layered everything up on a white card base. Stamped the sentiment with embossing ink on black cardstock and white heat embossed it. Used the Foam Tape to pop up the Frame and sentiment.

Products used:

Freesia Hot Foil Plate
Freesia Die
Freesia Simple Coloring Stencil
Fancy Enjoy Die
Buttercream Crisp Dye Ink
Citrus Burst Crisp Dye Ink
Grass Field Crisp Dye Ink
Espresso Crisp Dye Ink
Mini Blending Brushes
Instant Dimension Foam Tape

I hot foiled the Freesia flower onto a cardstock panel and took the negative and foiled it onto another panel. I then cut the negative panel out using the Freesia Die. I used the Stencils and colored in the flower with the inks and some Mini Blending Brushes. I adhered the Freesia panel to a white card base. Adhered the foiled cut out panel onto the card with the Foam Tape. Cut the Fancy Enjoy Die from some white cardstock and adhered that to the card.

Products Used:

Scallops Cover er Die
Brushed Rose Metallic Cardstock
Mighty Alphabet Dies
Mega Greetings 2
Double Sided Adhesive Sheets
Golden Peach Crisp Embossing Powder
Embossing Ink

I cut the Scallops Cover Die from the Brushed Rose Cardstock as well as one from black cardstock. I used a piece of the Double Sided Adhesive sheets to adhere the black frame to a white card base. then filled in the Brushed Rose Cardstock pieces into the frame. I cut the "Happy" letters out three times from some black cardstock and adhered them together with some liquid adhesive and then to a piece of velum. Stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it and adhered that to the velum panel. Adhered the velum to the card with a little liquid glue along the edges. Not my favorite application, I like to wrap the velum around the panel before its adhered to the card. But, I was not sire what I was doing when I began this card.

Products used:

Delightful Flowers Hot Foil Plate
Craft Your Life Project Kit: Dynamic Blossoms (Dies)
Brushed Rose Metallic Cardstock
Instant Dimension Foam Tape
Golden Peach Crisp Embossing Powder
Embossing Ink

I hot foiled the Delightful Flowers plate onto the Brushed Rose Cardstock. And can I say BEAUTIFUL! sometimes the cardstock that is used is tricky to get it to foil well, but this was amazing. I cut the "you" three times from some gray cardstock and adhered them together with some liquid glue, and then to the panel. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and adhered that to the panel with the Foam Tape and then adhered the panel to a gray card base. Easy Peasy!

Hello!

Are you loving this release? All the lovely things are over in the Altenew SHOP. If you are joining in the hop, you have found your way here from Terri Koszler. You can find your way to the beginning of the hop over at the Altenew Card Blog.

I LOVE this new Bold Sentiments Stamp Set. I did not own one like this previously, and it will be a great addition to my stamps.

Products used are:

Bold Sentiments Stamp Set
Incredible Stamp Set
Permanent Black Ink
24 Pan Watercolor Set
Instant Dimension Foam Tape
I've stamped the "Incredible" flowers with the Permanent Black Ink onto some watercolor cardstock and painted them loosely with the 24 Pan Watercolors. I used the Bold Sentiments and the Permanent Black ink for the sentiment, then cut it out. I adhered the watercolor panel to a white card base, adhered the sentiment with foam tape and added some water droplets to finish off this card.

Products used are:

Small Blending Brushes
Instant Dimension Foam Tape

I stamped the Climbing Leaves Stamp onto a piece of velum with the Embossing Ink and heat set the Gold Embossing Powder. Next, I blended the inks diagonally onto a panel of Neenah Solar White Cardstock. I cut the leave from the Itty Bitty Branches Dies out of some black Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with Obsidian Black Ink and cut it out. I wrapped the embossed panel around the ink blended background and adhered it to a black panel and then adhered that to a white card base. Finally, added the branch and the sentiment to the card.

I stamped the florals from the Enjoy Life Stamp Set with the Lava Rock Ink. I colored them in with the inks and Mini Blending Brushes. I used the Woodless Coloring Pencils to outline the images and add some interest to the finished flowers. I cut them out with the dies. I used the dotted stencil from the Playful Patterns Stencils and possibly Icy Water Ink (I forgot to note what I used) on a panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock. Then figured where I wanted to add the florals to the card and blended some of the ink to the panel around where I will adhere the florals. I stamped the sentiment with some Obsidian Black Ink, adhered the polka dotted panel to a pink card base with a strip of Gilded Glitter Cardstock behind the left side. Added the florals with some Instant Dimension Foam Tape and finally added some silver and white sequin mix to the card.
