Welcome!

Christmas Time.

Every year for quite a few years now we set up an advent Christmas Tree. Quite a few years ago, when I was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I ordered some vinyl advent calendar art. When it came, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. So, it sat for at least a year. Then I decided what I wanted to do. I purchased a frame and a piece of paper big enough to go inside it, a clear command hook, a three tiered silver tray,  ornaments in four different colors, a few decorations for a tree, and a tall skinny Christmas tree.

I took the big sheet of paper and stamped snowflakes all over it in versa mark ink. Heat embossed them with a glitter powder, avoiding the center where the vinyl would go. Then I sponged some ink lightly to give the paper some interest, again avoiding the center. next, I applied the vinyl to the paper and put it into the frame.

Close up of the detail on the paper. I attached the command hook to the glass so that when You hang the ornament on the hook, it lands in the right place.

Applied the vinyl numbers to the ornaments and stacked them in the tray. This tray isn't quite big enough for all of the ornaments. But who are we kidding. I do not have all the Christmas decorations up by December 1st. Just have to be careful with small children getting the next ornament off the tray.

My youngest always has fun doing this tree. You take the ornament off the tray and hang it on the hook for the day. and place the one that was on the hook on the tree.

Merry Christmas!
