I dry embossed Solar White Cardstock with the Sunshine Blossoms Folder. I used the crisp dye inks to lightly add color through the stencil. I added more details with the colored pencils. Added color to the flower centers with Paper Bag Crisp Dye ink and my finger. I added some blue ink lightly around the florals with a Detailed Blending Brush. Colored the front of a white card base with the Hydrangea Crisp Dye Ink and adhered the colored panel to it with the Ultra Sticky Double-Sided Tape. Cut out the "happy" from some black cardstock and adhered it to the card with liquid adhesive. Stamped the sentiment onto a strip of cardstock and added it with the Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

I embossed the Flower Vines Folder on some watercolor cardstock, then used the watercolors to paint it in and let it dry. I cut the "happy" from black cardstock. I colored the edges of the front of a white card base and adhered the watercolored panel with the Ultra Sticky Double-Sided Tape. Adhered the the "happy" to the card with liquid adhesive. Stamped the sub-sentient and adhered it the the card with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

When my order came, one of the items on the list was the tissue paper that the items come wrapped in. I have thought about using it before, and I really wanted to use it this time, It is so pretty. I think someone else used the tissue paper as well. I used some spray adhesive on a piece of white cardstock and smoothed the tissue paper over it. I cut the big floral out using scissors and dry embossed it with the Playful Circles Folder. I used the leaf dies to cut out some leaves out of the tissue paper as well as the gold mirror cardstock. I embossed a piece of white cardstock with the Geo Triangles Embossing Folder. Adhered that with another piece of Mirror cardstock to a white card base. Adhered the floral and leaves with the Instant Dimension Foam Tape. Cut the "birthday" once from the mirror cardstock and twice from white, adhered them together and then to the card. and added the "happy" sentiment.

It's always fun to die cut the shapes, add color and see what beautiful things appear.  I then splattered them with  the ink sprays and some white acrylic paint and set aside to dry. I foiled the Splatter Hot Foil Plate, blended it with some Sapphire Ink, and adhered that to a white card base. Adhered the flower parts together and adhered them to the card then glued the leaves in. Stamped and die cut the sentiment and added that to the card.

I die cut the Tropical Greeting elements and colored them in. Created the alcohol inked background, adhered it to a white card base. Die cut the Diamond Frame from some gold mirror cardstock and adhered that to the card. Die cut the hello three times, adhered them together, and adhered all the die cut elements to the card.

I stamped one of the flowers three times onto a Solar White card panel with Permanent Black Ink using masks to get the orientation I wanted. Colored in around the flowers with the BG07 Artist Marker, then used the other Markers to color in the flowers. Stamped the sentiment with Obsidian Black Ink, cut it out then added a little color to the outside edges, and adhered it to the card with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

I stamped the floral onto some watercolor cardstock with Limestone Crisp Dye Ink and painted it with the 24 Pan Watercolor Set. Embossed another piece of watercolor cardstock with the 3D Embossing Folder and adhered that to a white card base with the Ultra Sticky Double Sided adhesive, and the florals with the Instant Dimension Foam Tape. Stamped the sentiment with Obsidian Black Ink, and added the enamel dots.

I stamped the floral onto a half sheet of Solar White cardstock in Permanent Black Ink. Used the stencils and colored them in. Cut it, so I could make two cards, adhered them to white card bases and stamped the sentiments with Obsidian Black Ink.

INK REFILLS, NO INK PAD- NO PROBLEM

This Post is in combination with the video hop. hope you have enjoyed it. My video was the last on the hop.  Good luck.

 I started by coloring a strip of Solar White Cardstock with Eastern Sky Crisp Dye ink Refill and a finger dauber. Dry embossed it with the Vintage Lace 3D Embossing Folder, let it dry, then rubbed the raised edges with Ultramarine Crisp Dye Ink.

For the background- I dropped a couple drops of Iceberg and Caribbean Sky Artist Marker Refills onto some photo paper as well as drops some Isopropyl Alcohol, and used a puffer tool to move the color around the paper and set it aside to dry.  

I used silver foil to hot foil the flowers and leaves from the Linear Life Stamp, Die, and Hot Foil Bundle onto Hammermill cardstock. Silver foiled the largest circle plate from the Scalloped Circles Hot Foil Plates onto some lightweight velum.

Stamped the accents to the flowers and leaves with Eastern Sky Crisp Dye Ink.

Splattered the alcohol ink background with Jet Black Ink Spray, let it dry and adhered it as well as the embossed strip to a white card base. 

Stamped the sentiment from Bold Sentiments with Obsidian Black Ink and cut the one I wanted out.

I added the foil trimmed velum circle to the card with liquid glue.

Added a strip of Silver Gilded Glitter Cardstock that has the Double Sided Adhesive Sheets on the back of it to the card. Adhered the flowers and leaves and  the sentiment strip with Instant Dimension Foam Tape. And lastly added some Black Essential Enamel Dots to the card.

ALTENEW: JULY 2022 SUMMER SUNSHINE COLLECTION RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY ($300 in total prizes)

I Love summer!, How about you? I just love these summer days.

I was in a local store and saw a large painting with leaves and a sea turtle, and thought I would use that as my inspiration for this card. I used the Monstera Frame 3D Embossing Folder as the backdrop for the turtle I painted. I painted the Monstera leaves and let it dry. I googled sea turtles, found an image I liked. printed it out and used a light box to get a general size and area for the turtle. Used the 24 Pan Watercolor Paint Set and painted it. Then added a sentiment from the Monsteras and Quotes Stamp Set.

For the next two cards, I used masking paper for one card, and used the dies for the other card. 

I used the Summer Wishes Stamp Set and stamped the flip flops first since they would be in the front, masked them off, stamped the chair and umbrella, masked it off. Then stamped the sea shell and masked it off. I blended the background with Sand Dunes, Rocky Shores, Sunkissed, Caribbean Sky, and Dusk Crisp Dye Inks with Small blending Brushes.  Removed the masks and colored in the stamped images with Artist Markers in colors C004, Y401, Y423, Y425, Y911, Y821, G503, R504, R502, and C009. I stamped the sentiment with Obsidian Black Ink.

For the second card, I stamped the three images onto some Solar White Cardstock with Permanent Black Ink, colored them in with Artist Markers in C001, Y612, WG01, WG03, WG05, B001, B003, C015, B027, C009, R105, R107, and R218. I blended Sea Breeze and Sand Dunes Crisp Dye Inks on another piece of Solar White Cardstock, and added some shadows with the Artist Markers. Cut a frame from the Mix and Match Frames. Adhered the frame to the blended panel with the Instant Dimension Foam Tape. Glued the chair and sea shell flat and used the foam tape to add the flip flops. Finally stamped the sentient with Obsidian Black Ink.

Added a strip of Silver Gilded Glitter Cardstock that has the Double Sided Adhesive Sheets on the back of it to the card. Adhered the flowers and leaves and tucked the sentiment strip I had stamped with Obsidian Black Ink. And added some Black Essential Enamel Dots to the card.

Last card. I began by stamping with Embossing Ink and the Mosaic Diamonds Background Stamp onto a piece of Solar White Cardstock and Crystal Clear Embossing Powder. Adhered it, as well as a strip of Silver Gilded Glitter Cardstock and a strip of light pool colored cardstock to a white card base. 

I foiled some Hammermill cardstock as well as some light pool colored cardstock with the flowers and leaves from the Linear Life Stamp, Die and Hot Foil Plate Bundle with silver foil. Stamped the accents with Mountain Mist Crisp Dye Ink and adhered them to the card with liquid glue and Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

I foiled and cut the sentiment circle with the Scalloped Circles Hot Foil Plates and the Stitched Scallop Circles Dies. Stamped the sentiment onto it with Obsidian Black Ink and adhered it to the card with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
