Welcome!

I have made a couple cards to share. They go along with some of the mini stamps sets Altenew has given as free gifts when they are first released, and then they are for sale afterwards.

This first card is for the Baby's Breath stamp set. Love these cute little sets. They really pack a tiny punch.

I have taken a hot foil die and done the little square frame and the "thank you" on the cardstock that I colored with crisp dye ink. then on another small piece of the same colored card, I stamped the small image in embossing ink and heat set it with a combination of embossing powders to get a color similar tot the foil. Then used the Baby"s Breath die to cut it out.

I foiled another square with the same foil and layered them up on a white card base.

This card I cut three rectangles form some cardstock that I colored with crisp dye inks and adhered them to a white card base.

I cut the branch from and adhered that tot he card with some liquid adhesive.

I stamped the "thank you" from  the Berry Branch stamp set on a piece of white cardstock and cut it out.

For the last card, I stamped the Chickory Branch stamp onto a piece of white cardstock and colored it in with some Artist Alcohol Markers in.

I used the Chickory Branch die set to cut it out, and also cut it from a piece of black cardstock.

I tool the Blush ink from the mini cube and rubbed it onto a white card base in a rectangular shape and let it dry. Then I stamped the "thanks" onto the card with Permanent Black ink. Finally, adhered the die cut shapes onto the card. I did trim with scissors the one I had colored so the black layer was. more visible.

Thanks for visiting.

ALTENEW: A YEAR IN REVIEW BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Welcome!

For a couple of months this year, I received the opportunity to be a guest designer for Altenew. This is my first time being asked to be a designer. It was so much fun to receive a few items and then be able to create projects with them.

This post is part of a blog hop for Altenew. You should have come from Lilith Eeckels

We were asked to choose 4 projects to highlight.

If you would like the full details on how this card was made you can look for the August 12th post.

Artist Marker Set C, and Sunshine Valley Garden Set. Colors B63, B106, R925, R400, R301, R, 101, R056, Y204, G503, G515, G426.

I do love me some white space, but the dry embossing on the black background is a close second!

The next project was from May 14th if you would like the full details.

I love to make a card and gift bag that coordinates. I found you can heat emboss on washi tape.

The third project was from May 1st.

I used: Indian Lotus Stamp Set, Colored Pencils, Versafine Black Ink, Fine Liner Pen Set, White gel pen, Embossing ink, and White Embossing Powder.

Line images colored in with pencils is another favorite.

The last project I chose was from May 7th.

The products that I used are:Craft-A-Flower Buttercup Dies, Limestone Ink, Alcohol Ink refills in Mountain Mist, Lagoon, Emerald, Sea Glass, and Desert Night.  Crisp Dye inks in Mountain Mist, Lagoon, Emerald, Sea Glass, Desert Night, and Permanent Black Ink.

It was hard for me to chose just 4, Leave me a comment and let me know which was your favorite?

ALTENEW PLENTIFUL PATTERNS STAND-ALONE DIES/STENCILS/COLLECTION RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY ($300 IN TOTAL PRIZES)

Welcome.

What a fun release to end being a guest designer.
I hope that I am asked to participate again really soon.

Now, for the release. WOW! So fun! You should of come from Keren Baker. Or you can go back to the beginning of the hop HERE.

This first card was pretty quick to put together. I cut the Wave Form Cover Die from some white cardstock. I used Ocean Waves, Tide Blue, Dusk, Sapphire, and Gray Denim with the Small Blending Brushes to color the shapes.

I layered those onto a white piece of cardstock and left a small space between the spaces. I had to cut down the small piece in the lower right, and along the bottom a little to make it work. I then layered that onto a black piece of cardstock and then to a white card base.

I cut the "You" from the Mega You die from white twice, and black once. Layered those with the black one dropped down and to the right, then adhered that t the card with some silver thread puddled underneath it. I stamped the sub sentiment from the Mega Greetings 2 Stamp set and adhered that to the card with some foam tape.

For my second card I embossed the second largest die from the Mix and Match Frames Dies on white cardstock. Then used the smallest pen from the Fine Liner Pen set to add the lines around the embossed frame. Then cut the inside from from white cardstock as well. layered those on a piece of black cardstock and then on a white card base.

I then Stamped the flowers from the Fresh Cut Roses Stamp Set with Permanent Black ink on White cardstock.

I colored them in with he Artist Makers in colors C004G804G825G935Y514, Y608, and Y817. I fussy cut them out and adhered them and my sentiment to the card.

And the last card I cut the leaves from the Inline Leaves Die set from some white cardstock and colored it with Charcoal Suit ink by rubbing the mini ink pad over the cut leaves.

I rubbed some Arctic ink over the center pard of a piece of white cardstock and then to a small piece as well. I also rubbed Silver Stone ink around the outside of a n A-2 size white panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Adore You Add on Stamp Set in Charcoal Suit onto the small piece of cardstock I colored in Arctic ink. Cut it to the size I wanted and adhered that to a bigger piece of white cardstock.

I adhered all the panels to a white card base and then the leaves on top. And finally, I adhered the sentiment with some foam tape with some silver thread.

I want to thank Altenew for this opportunity to participate the last couple months. It was a lot of fun.

I stamped the flowers with Permanent Black ink on the top and bottom of a piece of white cardstock cut for a slimline card.

I used Altenew Artist Markers to color them in WG01, WG03, WG05, BG3, B002, G804, G935, G825, Y401, Y512, Y911, Y821, Y932, and then went around the outside of the flowers and leaves to help the stand out with C007, and B526.

I added the sentiment stamped with Permanent Black ink, the wrapped the edge with some Emerald Washi tape. I adhered the panel to a white caed base that I first colored the front outer edges by rubbing with the mini Emerald ink cube. Added some details to the center of the flowers with white and silver gel pens, and a line next to the washi tape with the silver gel pen. Finished by adding a couple round flat sequins.
