ALTENEW: APRIL 2022 SPRING GARDEN COLLECTION RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY ($300 in total prizes)

Hope you are loving this fabulous release from Altenew. You should have found your way from Sande Woodson.

I have made several cards to showcase this release of amazing products. I have used the Vibrant Florals Hot Plate and Vibrant Florals Simple Coloring Stencil Set to create these cards. 

I colored the Flowers with the Mini Blending Brushes in Canyon Clay, Burnt Red, Velvet, and Mountain Pine for the red one and the Enchanted Garden Mini Ink Cube Set for the purple one.

I added the sentiments with the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Seasonal Blooms.

When I saw the Ornate Door Die, I thought of Disney's Mulan.                                                     I cut the door twice out of Neenah Solar White Cardstock and blended Heart Beat and Velvet inks onto the outer portion and Fresh Lemon and Maple Yellow to the inner circles.  Then adhered them to a gate fold black card base. And added a white piece of cardstock to the card base to write on.

Colored a skinny strip with the red inks and used a brad to connect it to the center of the left door. I cut two more of the center part of the Ornate Door Die and colored them with the yellow inks, cut them out, and adhered them to the top of the doors with Instant Dimensional Foam Tape. The sentiment is from the Enchanting Beauty Stamp Set.

For the next card, I cut the Antique Blossoms Die from some black cardstock, cut it apart and layered them on a white card base to figure out where I liked them. I used the Detailed Blending Brushes to add the color to the card where the flowers and leaves would be.

The colors that I used are: Fresh Lemon, Maple Yellow, Canyon Clay, Heart Beat, Paper Bag, Parrot, and Olive. I blended Carribean Sky to the edges of the card base with a Small Blending Brush.

The sentiment is from the Craft Your Life Kit: Seasonal Blooms.

For this next card, I started by Using the Chevron Background Hot Foil Plate on a White Neenah panel, and adhering it to a white card base.

I cut a bunch af the leaves from the Itty Bitty Branches Dies. I colored them by blending Buttercream, Sunkissed, Warm Sunshine, Caramel Toffee, and Frayed Leaf on them and used the same inks to stamp flowers from the Life Is Awesome Stamp Set. 

Added details with the Y612, G702, G715 Artist Markers. The two sentiments come from Birthday Greetings Stamp Set and Craft Your Life Project Kit: Dynamic Blossoms.

For the last card, Altenew has released another beautiful larger 8" x 10.5" set, Bountiful Bouquet.

I ran the Checkered Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder through my die cutting machine with a piece of Neenah cardstock panel.

On another piece of Neenah, I stamped the large floral image from the  Bountiful Bouquet set.

I  stamped the layers using the Green Valley,  Pocketful Of Sunshine, and Coffee Break Crisp dye inks.

I used the coordinating die to cut it out, and adhered it to the embossed panel. Added the sentiment and adhered it to a white card base.

For the lest card, I made this right after the news of Russia bombing Ukraine and I was shopping and saw a cute lotion tube, and then a shirt that were blue striped. So that was my inspiration for this card.

ALTENEW: PAINT-A-FLOWER: GERBERA REVOLUTION RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY ($200 in total prizes)

This is a beautiful Paint-A-Flower set. There is a monthly subscription, and if you like to color, this is a subscription you would love.

I began by stamping the Paint-A-Flower: Gerbera Revolution in Permanent Black ink on a panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock. I stamped it twice on the corners, then masked off what I had stamped so I could add in two more leaves.

I colored the flowers with the Artist Markers, in the colors: Sunshine Valley Garden set F- C004 Citrus Burst, Y316 Honey Drizzle, Space Garden set I Y337 Sicilian Amber, Y762, Island Garden set H G201 Minty Mint, G213 Sweet Leaf, G315 Just Green, G245 Hunter Green, B001 Iceberg, and the 0 colorless blender.

I stamped the sentiment with Permanent Black ink and added some Essential Black and White Enamel Dots, then used a black pen from the Fine Liner Pen set to add some dots around the panel. I added some highlights with a white gel pen, and adhered the panel to a white card base.

I made another card with the Castle Garden Stamp and Die Bundle. Similar to the first one but on the first, I used masking tape to block the paper where I wanted to do the ink blending, and with this one I used Masking paper and cut a rectangle with a die in the size that I wanted.
