Let it Shine

Hello.

I love sparkle and glitter, so it was hard for me to decide what I wanted to do for this card.
I started by stamping the flower from Altenew's Beautiful Heart stamp set in VersaFine Onyx Black ink on watercolor cardstock.  Then I created a mask for the flower and stamped the leaves.  I let it dry and then watercolored them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi pearl watercolors along with Coral Berry and Just Green Altenew inks.

I added some more details with Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils and then used Dusk Altenew ink to blend in some color around the edges. It looked like the flower was floating on the card, so I covered the flower with my mask again and blended around the flower as well.

I stamped the sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black ink from Build-A-Flower: Magnolia stamp set. And I outlined everything with a black liner pen.
I used the Rectangle Stacks Dies from My Favorite Things to cut a frame out of silver glittery cardstock, and used the outside rectangle die to cut down my panel to the same size.
I mounted the panel and frame onto a black card base that has a piece of white cardstock inside it so  you could write your message inside.
I added some rhinestones to the card and that finished this card up.

Thanks,
