SSS Wednesday Challenge

Welcome.

My kids love to play this little game when they are sitting in church where they take a piece of paper and fold it into thirds. Then they will take turns drawing either a head, body or legs (not being able to see what else the other person has drawn) to make up a funny creature. Well my idea was not quite funny creature, but that was my thought process.

I stamped four of these cute little bodies onto a Nina Solar White cardstock panel in Simon Says Intense black ink.

Then I laid some strips of Nina cardstock onto the panel and marked where the heads and feet would be stamped, and stamped them in the Simon ink.

I stamped the cute little frog umbrella onto the panel and then I used a circle die and an oval punch to cut the holes into my panel. I had to cut part of the circles out by hand near the umbrella. I also added two other animal heads and feet to the strips, so when the recipient slides the strips, another animal is seen.

I used Distress inks to blend in a background and then used Copic Markers to color in everything. I used My Favorite Things "Interactive Labels" to stamp the "Pull" onto the ends of the strips in Simon Intense black ink. I cut the strips down so that they had a notch at the ends to keep them from moving too far when the card is put together.

I used the My Favorite Things "Big Birthday Wishes" to stamp my sentiment onto the panel with Simon Intense Black ink.

 I used 3M foam tape to adhere the panel to a red card base. Making sure that the sliders would move correctly.
