ALTENEW: PAINT-A-FLOWER: ZINNIA MAGELLAN ROSE OUTLINE STAMP SET RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

 Welcome to the hop.

You should have arrived here from Katrina's blog or you can start at the beginning here.

Your next stop is Nandini Karmarkar

There is a giveaway and some special offer info regarding the release of the Paint-A-Flower: Zinnia Magellan Rose at the end of my blog or you can find more on the Altenew blog here.

I thought I would venture outside of my normal go to's and give a loose watercolor look a try. I began by stamping the floral from the Paint-A-Flower: Zinnia Magellan Rose Stamp Set onto a watercolor panel with Permanent Black ink. I let it dry to make sure the color would not bleed.

I then added water to the panel and added the color from the 24 Pan Watercolor set, and let it dry. I added some depth with the Artist markers in B201, G015, Y316, C004, Y207, Y106, R056, R217, Y608, Y514, and G804. I added spatters with some Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray, and some of the colors I watercolored with.

I stamped the sentiment and adhered it to a gold colored card base and added some yellow enamel dots from the Pocketful Of Sunshine set.

Thank you so much for visiting!

  3. I adore this card because of the watercolors bleeding and blending into the background. It makes it a painting. Great design!
