ALTENEW: BUILD-A-FLOWER: GIANT BELLFLOWER RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY ($200 in total prizes)

Welcome!

Hope you have enjoyed the hop so far. You should have come from SathyaKala's blog. Her card was beautiful! There are lots of inspiration over on the Altenew Card Blog, and you can check out the Giant Bellflower products here, or view the monthly subscription info here.

I wanted soft colors for my card. I started by stamping the flower image in some permanent black ink onto some Neenah Solar White cardstock.

I used Orange Cream, Fresh Lemon, Volcano Lake, Minty Mint, Polar Bear, Sunkissed, and Coral Bliss crisp dye inks and the Detailed Blending Brushes to add color to the flowers and leaves.

The colors ended up darker that I wanted, so I took a finger dauber, and some white pigment ink and applied it all over the flowers and leaves to soften the inks. And added some black splatters with the Jet Black ink spray. When the panel was dry, I stamped the outline again in Permanent Black ink.

I blended come ink diagonally across another cardstock panel with a ruler and a Detailed Blending brush and a Small Blending brush in Sunkissed and Minty Mint. Cut a frame out of it and then took a larger frame die and added some silver foil with a hot foil machine. Stamped the sentiment and adhered the frame to the panel with Instant Dimension Foam Tape. Then adhered it to a white card base.

Thanks for visiting.

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
