ALTENEW: CRAFT YOUR LIFE PROJECT KIT: DYNAMIC BLOSSOMS RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Welcome to the Craft Your Life Dynamic Blossoms Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Virginia Lu's blog, and your next stop is Maryam Perez. You can also check out the full blog list over on the Altenew blog.

The Craft Your Life project kits are one of my favorite items that Altenew carries. You can see all the details about this and other Craft Your Life kits here. Altenew offers a monthly subscription which you can find out more about here

For the first card, I began by using Nimbus and Sea Forest Crisp dye inks with the layering stencils from the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Dynamic Blossoms to color in the flowers and leaves on some Neenah 80 lb. cardstock. Then I used the die to cut it out.  I then stamped the outline in Obsidian Black Ink

I covered a piece of cardstock with Gold String Washi Tape and wrapped it around the front of the panel and then around the back of a card base. Then I attached a piece of acetate behind the washi panel. I took some more Nimbus ink and the other stencil and blended it over the front of the card base. And to soften it, I blended more ink over that.

I adhered the floral to the front and cut the "you" from black cardstock three times and adhered them as well as the heat embossed sub sentiment.

For the second card, I used photo paper and Alcohol ink refills in Rouge, Buttercream and Volcano Lake to ink a background. I cut the leaves from Leaf Mix Dies from Neenah white cardstock.

I heat embossed the floral image from the kit onto some velum paper and then cut it out with the dies. Cut three more "you's" from black cardstock, layered them together and arrranged and adhered them to the alcohol panel. Then adhered the panel to a white card base.

Thank you for joining in the hop.
