ALTENEW: CRAFT-A-FLOWER: SUNBURST AZALEA RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY ($200 in total prizes)

Hi, and welcome to the Sunburst Azalea Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from Virginia's Lu's blog and your next stop is Maryam Perez. You can find the full blog list over at the Altenew Blog.

The Craft-A-Flower sets are fun to see what you can create just by changing up your papers.

I have made two cards for this release. I began by using some photo paper and Artist Alcohol ink refills made some inked paper.

The colors I used are Deep Iris, Moss, and Sapphire.
I used the beautiful Sunburst Azalea set to cut the shapes from the alcohol inked panel and adhered them all together with a 2 in 1 Precision Glue Pen.

Next, I took a Neenah cardstock panel and blended Icy water crisp dye ink around the edges, then used the Crystal Wall 3D Embossing folder to make a background. I glued that to a white card base and glued the flowers on to it.
I used the Birthday Greetings set to add a heat embossed sentiment.

For the second card, I cut the shapes from the Sunburst Azalea set out of some white cardstock, and blended some Sunkissed, Velvet, Charcoal Suit, and  Mountain Mist inks on the cut pieces with Mini Blending Brushes.

I took another Neenah cardstock panel and added texture by dry embossing it with the Feathery Stencil. Which does not show up very well in pictures, but adds a bit of texture to the card.

I cut some leaves from Leaf Mix Dies out of some white cardstock.

I adhered the different leaves and the flowers to the panel. And added a heat embossed sentiment from the Fresh Cut Roses stamp set. And then added the panel to a white card base.

Thanks for visiting,
