MONOCHROMATIC DREAMS COME TRUE / ALTENEW VIDEO HOP + GIVEAWAY

Hello!

So glad you are visiting.

I was feeling some monochromatic vibes in my craft room today, and thought I would do something besides the gray cardstock with colored pencils that seems to be the go-to monochromatic color scheme the I tend to like the most.

I stamped the outline images from the Wispy Joy Stamp Set onto some khaki cardstock with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it using Pure White Embossing Powder. I'd like to say that I was resisting buying more embossing powders until what I have was gone. But I went ahead and bought some of the Altenew ones besides the Platinum. They are very nice powders, and melt and react very well.

I used the Warm Gray Crisp Dye Inks with the flower layers to fill in the images and then used the Dies to cut them out.

I took another panel of khaki cardstock and dry embossed it with the Sylvan Baroque 3D Embossing Folder. I used Lave Rock and some white acrylic paint to add slatters on the panel. The panel needed something so I rubbed the raised parts with Morning Frost ink and adhered it to a white card base.

I colored a piece of cardstock with Lava Rock ink. When the ink was dry, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Dainty Swiss Dots Stamp Set.

Adhered the flowers and leaves- some with Instant Dimmension Foam Tape and some liquid glue and the finished by adding the sentiment.

 Thanks for visiting.
