ALTENEW CRAFT-A-FLOWER BUTTERCUP LAYERING DIE SET RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Welcome!

I'm so glad I can participate in Altenew's Craft-A-Flower Buttercup Die Set Release Blog Hop.

You should have just come from Therese Calvird. Didn't you love the way she used these dies! She always does amazing things.

I started by coloring some white cardstock colors of a buttercup flower with Altenew Blending Brushes. I used Citrus Burst, Fresh Lemon, Maple Yellow, Honey Drizzle, Paper Bag, and Sweet Leaf . Then I cut out the pieces and deepened the shadows with more ink.

I used another white panel and used the Deco Wallpaper Stencil with Limestone Ink and blended the color on the middle part of the panel, and addedThe Limestone ink to the outer edges without the stencil. I used Ocean Waves, and Teal Caves Ink and put some color in the bottom left corner and adhered the die cut pieces on top.

I cut the "Thank You" form some black cardstock and adhered it to the panel. And then adhered the panel to a dark craft card base. And finished it with some sequins.

I started the second card by cutting he leaves and the larger flower shapes out of craft foam.
I then stamped the leaves onto a white panel with Limestone ink.

I was then paying with the different flower shapes on an extra piece of paper and saw a butterfly from the flower shape that sits in the front.

I used some Yupo paper and colored it with Mountain Mist, Lagoon, Emerald, Sea Glass, Dusk and Desert Night Alcohol Ink Refills. Let it dry and cut out the shapes.

I used some Crisp Dye inks in the same colors and spattered the leave panel with them and also some Jet Black ink. Adhered the panel to a kraft card base, and then adhered the butterflies to the card with foam tape. Lastly I cut the thank you out of black cardstock, and adhered it to the card.

Thank you for visiting my blog for the blog hop. Next up is Nathalie DeSousa.
