ALTENEW: AUGUST 2022 MARVELOUS MONTHLY SERIES BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY ($300 in total prizes)

Hello!

What amazing new products, right? If you are playing along in the hop, you should have arrived from Erum Tasneem's blog. And if you would like to go back to the beginning of the hop, you can find that here. Leave a comment down below for your chance to win a gift card to the Altenew shop.

I have 5 card ideas to share with you today using each of the monthly subscription products.

Craft Your Life Project Kit

I stamped and colored the images from the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Magnolia Blooms with Antique Gold Embossing Powder, and Crisp Dye Inks.

The Craft Your Life Kit comes with a 3D Embossing Folder, which makes for a dynamic, textured, easy background, or even the focal point of a card. I added Enamel Dots and the sentiment to finish off this card.

Mini Delight

This Mini Delight: Like A Star set is so fun and makes a cute quick little card. I stamped it with Permanent Black Ink added the inside stamps with Crimson and Velvet Inks, used the die to cut it out and added the sentiment from the Birthday greetings Stamp Set. And lastly, added the balloon tail with a Fine Liner Pen.

Paint-A-Flower

I have tried an older technique that I haven't done in a long time with the Paint-A-Flower: Wood Anemone Set. First I heat embossed the image with Crisp White Embossing Powder not some watercolor cardstock, then used the 36 Pan Watercolor Set to paint it. Then when it was dry I removed the heat embossing with an iron and some typing paper to reveal the white outline.

Build-A-Garden

I love the Build-A-Garden: Daffodil Delight set. I used the coordinating Coloring Stencils to create the background panel for the card with the Pocketful Of Sunshine Crisp Dye Inks. Then I stamped the outline image onto the panel along with the sentiment with some Obsidian Black Ink. I also stamped the outline images onto a white card base in Limestone Crisp Dye Ink.

Craft-A-Flower

It's always fun to die cut all the parts of the Craft-A-Flower out and see what they look like. The Open Peony Set has beautiful pieces that fit together so nicely.  I cut the leaves out of craft foam and made some stamps which I stamped a background panel in Limestone Ink then splattered it with Jet Black Ink Spray. I colored the cut out pieces and adhered them to the panel with some liquid glue, stamped the sentiment from Hello Sunshine, cut out the "you" and a strip for the edge from Gilded Glitter Cardstock and the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Dynamic Blossoms, and assembled the card onto a white card base.

  16. Fantastic cards Linda! My favorites are the first and the last. This new kit is great, and I really like the how you embossed the top of the card and stamped the bottom. The colors you used are so elegant. And your CAF card is absolutely stunning, but aren't all peonies?

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
