ALTENEW: APRIL 2022 GARDENS AROUND THE WORLD COLLECTION RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY
Welcome, and thanks for spending your time here.
What a fabulous collection! It was so much fun to be able to participate in this release. You should have found your way here from Norine's blog, and you can see the full blog list over at the Altenew Card Blog.
I decided to switch my blog post up today and not share specifics because there are several examples. But, if you are interested in how any of these were made, leave me a comment down below so I can share the details another time:)
The supplies that I have used on this card are:
Meadow Reflections Stamp and Die Bundle
Tide Blue Crisp Dye Ink
Persian Blue Crisp Dye Ink
Arctic Mountain Crisp Dye Ink
Embossing Ink
Clear Embossing Powder
Obsidian Black Ink
Silver foil
Essential Black and White Enamel Dots
Small Blending Brush
White Gel Pen
I stamped a sentiment on the inside and added a butterfly inside as well.
For the second card, the supplies are:
Castle Garden Stamp and Die Bundle
Pastel Sunrise Crisp Dye Ink
Canyon Clay Crisp Dye Ink
Burnt Red Crisp Dye Ink
Mahogany Bark Crisp Dye Ink
Small Blending Brushes
Obsidian Pigment Ink
Celebrate 6 x 6 Paper Pack
Gilded Glitter Cardstock
I made another card with the Castle Garden Stamp and Die Bundle. Similar to the first one but on the first, I used masking tape to block the paper where I wanted to do the ink blending, and with this one I used Masking paper and cut a rectangle with a die in the size that I wanted.
The supplies that I used are:
Castle Garden Stamp and Die Bundle
Fresh Lemon Crisp Dye Ink
Coral Bliss Crisp Dye Ink
Vineyard Berry Crisp Dye Ink
Obsidian Pigment Ink
Nesting Slim Rectangle Dies
For this card, the cute Leaf Canopy-add on set was a winner. I do not have the Leaf Canopy set, but I thought that it pulls its weight very well.
The supplies that I used for this card are:
Leaf Canopy- Add On Stamp and Die Bundle
24 Pan Watercolor Set
Splatter Hot Foil Plate
Platinum Embossing Powder
Embossing Ink
What a gorgeous set this one is!
For my last card, the supplies are:
Morning Flowers Stamp and Die Bundle
Nature's Wonder Mini Ink Cubes
Sugarplums Crisp Dye Oval Set
Sunkissed Crisp Dye Ink
Obsidian Pigment Ink
Splatter Hot Foil Plate
Embossing Ink
Silver Foil
For this card, I did add foil with clear heat embossing with the last layers of the leaves and flowers, then used silver foil with a laminator. It's really hard to see the added foil in the pictures.
I have made another card with this set that I will be sharing soon, with a video as well.
Thanks for taking time to participate.Make Today Amazing!
