ALTENEW: BUILD-A-FLOWER: BELLADONNA LILY RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY
Hi! and welcome.
I hope you are enjoying the hop so far.
You should have come from Norine Borys blog. I love how she used this set and how the flowers overlapped the center on her tri-fold card.
The Belladonna Lily's are summer bloomers that produce fragrant flowers on an impressive stalk. This set has four stamping layers for the flowers, and two for the leaves. My first card I just used the outline stamps, and then the second card, I use the layers.
I white heat embossed the Belladonna Lily outline flowers and the leaves from the Smile More stamp set onto some Neenah white cardstock and then colored them using the Mini Blending Brushes with Rouge, Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Razzleberry, Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake, and Gray Denim inks and then cut them out.
I used the Watercolor Stripes Stencil and Permanent Black ink on another piece of cardstock, and blended Sand Dunes ink around the outer edges with a Mini Blending Brush. Adhered the flowers and a sentiment and added some Liquid Pearls in brass around the card and on the flowers.
For my second card, I stamped the flowers and leaves onto some Neenah cardstock with Citrus Burst, Fresh Lemon, Maple Yellow, Honey Drizzle, Warm Sunshine, Paper Bag, Dew Drops, and Aqualicious.
I used the die cuts to cut them out.
Thanks for joining in the hop!
